"HITLER IN LOVE" IN STUTTGART-GERMANIA

Do you want to sleep with Adolf Hitler?

von by Anita Cyprowski und Stephanie Speiser
translated by Marco Minner

Standing ovations-last evening,last performance-that s it!
If Adolf Hitler got mad because of the missing love of his mother, his disappointments concerning women or because of his lack of artistic talent-we don t know.Scientists didn t get it straight,if you can carry the genes of a murderer from you birth, yet.Everything is just a matter of interpretation.
But here are the facts"HITLER IN LOVE"was a top-notch final for a,as we think,top-notch festival.
Acting in perfection! One person with an unbelievable presence on stage, captivating,so basically the person could have spoken Chinese.
The meagre stage setting reflected the emptiness and diremption of Hitler, the music and the light were fitting perfectly and completed the partly scaring, partly tragic,to some extent bizarre atmosphere of the play.
After this great finish and such a lot of ingenious tragedy,we re looking forward to seeing the hopefully entertaining part of the rest of the evening, starring accordionist and singer Tobias Escher and his stunning partner and harp/harmonica player Jazzboy.

HITLER IN LOVE IN SHANGHAI-CHINA-16;17;18;19-november 2009

Undoubtedly, Hitler in Love is a talented piece of work. The whole play tries to reset the spiritual world of Hitler in his last days. Featuring with fierce inner conflict, Hitler in love is a tough challenge both to the actor and the director. However, the two actists, Acris Dumitru from Moldova and Suren Shanverdyan from America, presented a brilliant performance to Chinese audiences.
Without complicated stage facilitates, the design of the stage is concise and powerful. The follow lighting and the haunting alarm render a cold and intense atmosphere, which leads audiences directly to Hitler’s inner world. Yet in the middle of the play, Hitler slides into the character of a clown. The stage thus turns into a noisy and ludicrous circus. A new layer of the tyranny’s world are exposed in the gleaming light. The last part of the play is also frantic and paradoxical. With long and pressing soliloquy, Hitler heads into self-destruction. In the end, the scenes of the horrifying battlefield nowadays pull audiences back to the reality and stir up the in-depth deliberation. Hitler is dead, but not the war. In this play, Hitler is portrayed more like a poor kid lack of parental love. The murmur to his mother even has a trace of tender and softness. Nevertheless, the kid finally grew into a tyranny, which is not only a tragedy to individual, but also to the human beings.

The actor Acris is the luminous point for certain. His acting is powerful and precise. Anyway, it is not effortless to turn a good-looking and athlet-built guy to a sloping shouldered, humpbacked and disagreeable Hitler.
